Stephen gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, FRCS, in 1996.In 2011 Stephen was awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Phlebology and is now an accredited supervisor and trainer for the College.

Mr David Ferrar
Mr Ferrar has been a specialist in Vascular and Endovascular surgery in Hamilton since 2000. After qualifying from Otago Medical School in 1987 he trained in surgery in London and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1991. He then trained in Vascular Surgery working with Sir Norman Browse at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. He returned to Auckland for the Australasian General Surgery training and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1996. He undertook post-fellowship training in Vascular Surgery in Hamilton and in Melbourne before completing the FRACS in Vascular Surgery in 1999. He is also fully qualified sonologist in Vascular Ultrasound and holds a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound from the Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine. He is a consultant at Health Waikato and Director of the Vascular Ultrasound Lab at Waikato Hospital. Mr Ferrar is an experienced and skilled surgeon. As a NZ Medical Council registered specialist Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon, Malcolm Gordon’s daily work concentrates on minimally invasive treatments for the maximum benefit of his patients.
Malcolm graduated as Bachelor of Medicine (MB) and Bachelor of Surgery (ChB) from the University of Otago School of Medicine in 1984. After completing lhis surgical training in Christchurch, Malcolm gained Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1992.
